Make tax-free a standard feature across all e-commerce.
By integrating regulation, operations, and technology,
we aim to create a market with an annual GMV of ¥150 billion through our Tax-Free OS by 2030
(equivalent to a 10% e-commerce penetration of the tax-free market),
and establish it as a new purchasing infrastructure for e-commerce in Japan.

A Message from the CEO
Tomohito Omori, CEO, iEntEmerge inc.
“Emerge” means “to appear” or “to come into view.”
Our company was spun out from iEnt Inc., founded in 2011,
with the purpose of bringing a new service—tax-free e-commerce—to life.
In Japan, there exists a unique system known as tax exemption.
However, much of it remains confined to physical retail,
with little connection to e-commerce.
Meanwhile, the purchasing behavior of inbound visitors is clearly evolving.
They research before traveling, select products online, and pick them up locally.
This trend will only accelerate in the years ahead.
And yet, regulation and technology remain disconnected.
We aim to bridge this gap.
By digitizing the tax-free system,
we enable a seamless purchasing experience across online and offline.
This is what we are building through “tax-free × e-commerce.”
Rather than optimizing regulation, operations, and technology separately,
we redesign them as a single, integrated structure.
This is not an easy challenge.
There are no precedents, and no clear answers.
That is precisely why it is worth building ourselves.
We are creating infrastructure in a market that does not yet exist.
